TEAM OFFICERS
~2011-2012~

Megan Cussimanio
Hey, I'm Megan Cussimanio and I am Captain of Aliso Niguel's Drill Team 2011-12! This is my
fourth year on the team, but I've been dancing all my life. I am so excited for this coming year. Being a part
of this team and becoming so close with the other girls has shaped who I am as a person and have prepared me to move on to
college next year in a new chapter of my life. Although I will be moving forward, I will not leave behind all the wonderful
memories and friendships I've made on this team. It hasn't been easy, but I've accomplished everything I've worked towards
and am looking forward to finishing on a high note this year! Being on drill team has made my high school experience
a great one, and I will miss it so much! I love all my girls!

Alyssa Tanorie
G'day! My name is Alyssa and I am very excited to be your co-captain this year. I began dancing at
age 3 and have a total of 10 years dance experience in ballet, pointe, and drill. This is my fourth year on the team and I
am looking forward to making it the best year yet. Drill team has made the high school experience so much better for me, and
there are so many amazing people that I never would have met if it weren't for this team. I am definitely going to miss my
drill family after I graduate, but this team will always hold a special place in my heart. After high school, I plan to go
to college, work for Disney, and eventually move down under to Sydney (I'm an Australian girl at heart!). My favorite things
include Disney, European history (NERD), running, kangaroos, and of course, my drill girls!

Chelsea Traino
Hi, I'm Chelsea and this is my third fabulous year on Drill which I am really looking forward
to! I am a junior and one of this year’s co-captains. Dancing has been a part of my life since I was very little. I
have done it on and off my whole life. I really love being on drill team because its like I have my second family at school
with me and we have each other’s backs:) we support each other 100% and it’s been where I have made some of my
closest friends a and is a huge part of my life and I couldn’t imagine going through high school without this team:)
we make so many memories together and I will never forget them. This team is so important to me and has helped me in many
different areas of my life which is why I’m so excited for this year! I can already tell it will be super fun :) I LOVE
YOU GIRLS<3 :)

Lieutenant
Stephanie Harb
Hey there, I'm Stephanie Harb! I'm a sophomore here at Aliso, and I'm so excited to be Aliso
Niguel Drill's 2011-2012 lieutenant! This is my second year on the team, my first as an officer, and I absolutely love
it! I've been dancing since age three on and off in the areas of ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, and hip hop. I've also aided
dance teachers in their lower level classes. This team is my second family, and my drill sisters mean the
world to me. My freshman year on the team was so much fun, and I'm confident that 2011-2012 will be an amazing and exciting year!
I love all these girls SO much, and I know we're gonna be awesome at competitions and make some great
memories this year! I love you all! :) Go Aliso!

Choreographer Sydney Van Horn
Sydney is one of the newest editions to Aliso's Drill Team. She is a senior at
UCLA studying Communications, and spent a semester studying in Barcelona, Spain. Sydney was on Drill Team for three amazing
years - sophomore to senior year, where she was elected lieutenant and captain respectively the last two years. This year,
Sydney has returned for the third time to choreograph a military routine for the girls to hopefully dazzle the judges and
audience at competitions. She loves Drill Team with all of her heart. It gave her a sense of home and family while in high
school and she hopes to continue the tradition. But more importantly, these girls mean the world to her and she would do anything
for her little sisters.
I'll MISS YOU!
