August: Boot Camp & Summer Camp

2009/2010
- The new team gathered for an afternoon of games,
fittings, and getting to know each other.
- Participated in the Relay for Life, an event sponsored by the American Cancer Society to help raise awareness and fund
cancer research. Our team raised over $700!! Go ANHS Wolverettes!!
- Went to see the finale of So You Think You Can Dance?
- Learned our Novelty routine, and got back in shape at our week long Boot Camp held at ANHS.
- Attended Summer Camp at Aliso Creek Inn, and learned our pom and military routines.
- Held a Rummage Sale in the ANHS parking lot, and raised over $700.
- Performed military at the football game halftime.
- Performed pom at the Homecoming Pep Rally.
- Performed at the Give Blood Hockey Tournament and Blood Drive.
- At the Winter Dance Concert "Queen of the Night" , sponsored by ANHS Dance Team, we performed our pom and military routines
for two nights.
- Nicole & family were amazing hosts for our annual Holiday Party.
- The Laguna Niguel Holiday Parade was cancelled due to rain.
- Performed our Military routine at the girls basketball game halftime.
- Hosted the Aliso Dance Classic at ANHS, a CADTD competition. 12 schools participated in this event.
- Performed our small jazz routine at the boys varsity basketball game.
- Won 1st place in military at West Covina High School's Winter Celebration. Tied for 2nd in pom, but didn't place.
- Brought home 2nd place in pom and 2nd place in military at Street Dance USA at Soka University.
- Got 1st place in pom, military, and jazz at Knott's Berry Jamz. Also received a showmanship trophy for military,
and poise award for jazz.
- Took 1st place in military at Woodbridge Dance Celebration.
- Varsity Jazz Team won third place at the Wilson Golden Cup.
- Attended the Miss Dance Drill Team Nationals at UCI Bren Events Center.
- Performed at the ANHS Night of the Arts.
- Held our 7th Annual Spring Show "Survivor Aliso"
- Said goodbye to our Seniors Sasha, Lauren, and Melissa. Good luck Class of 2010! You will be missed!
